The 16-year-old, who is already playing first-team football in the League of Ireland’s Premier Division, will sign a pre-contract with Arsenal which means he will join when he turns 18 in January 2027
The player has already completed his medical and the deal could be signed as early as this week.
This transfer represents the culmination of three years of work from Arsenal developing a scouting network and relationships with clubs in Ireland.
Arsenal identified both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as appropriate areas to expand and invest in their recruitment network. The club have a rich tradition of Irish players and wanted to ensure that they are well-positioned to recruit future generations of emerging Irish talent.
As an EU citizen, Ozhianvuna is not able to join Arsenal until he turns 18.
