On 1 June Arsenal had cash reserves of £200m. £60m ringfenced for debt service and on-going costs. So £140m in available cash this window

It is thought that being cautious, Arsenal have a contingency set aside of £40m to cover not qualifying for the Champions League this season

So of £100m for this window almost £75m has been spent by Arsenal (incl agent fees) & £30m received so the transfer kitty is now £55 to £60m

To conclude there's money to spend & AFC could afford one more 'star'. Ie £40m fee &£10m per annum. Would help if no Poldi on wage bill.

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 1 hil y a 1 heure

Sporting Lisbon have indeed acquired 100% of William Carvalho's economic right, making it easier to deal. The deal could be revived soon.

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 59 minil y a 59 minutes

Removing TPO from the equation is necessary for any deal for Carvalho. It remains to be seen if Arsenal will revisit.

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 57 minil y a 57 minutes

The acquisition of the 100% of Carvalho's economic right is the first step. the next step for Sporting is to accept Arsenal's payment plan.

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 55 minil y a 55 minutes

A deal could be finalised in days if Sporting are willing to continue discussions where they left off. Payment plan is in place.

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 49 minil y a 49 minutes

Reportedly Arsenal would give AW £20M to spent in Jan transfer window. A deal for Carvalho would initially cost £12M, going by last meetings

AFCPressWatch™ @AFCPressWatch 48 minil y a 48 minutes

Basically, Arsenal would then be looking to sign a defender in the £8M price range region. Plus AW could have funds available via plr sales.

However, that's a big assumption. The Arsenal could be looking at other deals in the required positions (DM, CD). So anything can happen.

Benzema's representatives: "Karim is very happy at Real Madrid and is not looking to move anywhere this summer." [@skysports_bryan]

Elliot Richardson @ElliotR1971 5 hil y a 5 heures

There is no change on Benzema. RM plan no exits and so unless President changes his mind, this is the status quo.

Juventus has agreement with Higuain for contract until 2020! Now, Juve will contact Napoli and will try to found an agreement #transfers

Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano 9 minil y a 9 minutes

If Napoli will not accept, Juve would be ready to pay release-clause (€94M!) for Higuain. Arsenal, now, just talks and no more. Let's see!
